The blue-and-red Aquanaut is the one I would start with. Patek Philippe’s new 5167A-014 takes a familiar steel sports watch and gives it a much sharper personality for Watch Art Milan 2026. But the bigger watchmaking story is the 5978P-010: a platinum chronograph with a new instantaneous perpetual calendar.

This release brings together seven Milan limited editions and six new Gondolo Ladies First references. Here is the reference-by-reference breakdown, the listed prices, and what I would pay attention to before trying to buy one.

Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5167A-014: the Milan edition

The 5167A-014 is limited to 250 pieces. Its steel case measures 40.8 mm across the 10-to-4-o’clock axis and is 8.1 mm thick. The blue sunburst dial darkens toward the edge, with a red minute track and red seconds hand. A midnight-blue composite strap keeps the color scheme consistent.

Inside is the automatic 26-330 S C, with a date, sweep seconds and stop-seconds function. The sapphire back carries “Patek Philippe Milano 2026.” Patek lists water resistance at 30 meters and the price at $43,761. Patek Philippe specifications.

For me, the appeal is the color balance. The red is enough to separate this from the regular black-dial 5167A without overwhelming the design. If you are searching for the “blue Aquanaut Milan” or “2026 Aquanaut limited edition,” 5167A-014 is the exact reference to use.

5978P-010: the chronograph worth looking past the Aquanaut for

The 5978P-010 pairs a manually wound chronograph with an instantaneous perpetual calendar through the new CH 29-535 PS QI caliber. Patek describes this as the first combination of its manually wound chronograph movement with an instantaneous perpetual calendar. The movement contains 500 components.

The platinum case is 42 mm wide and 14.24 mm thick, with a diamond at six o’clock. Italian calendar indications sit across the upper dial, while a navy composite strap with a fabric pattern and red stitching gives it a more casual look than the complication might suggest. Production is 120 pieces; the listed price is $337,585. Patek Philippe specifications.

This is my pick for the most interesting mechanical release in the group. The layout gives the calendar room to breathe, and the red chronograph hands make the functions easier to distinguish at a glance.

5531G-012 and 5531G-013: Milan by day and night

Both 5531G references combine world time with a minute repeater in a 40.2 mm white-gold case. The repeater sounds the local time for the city positioned at twelve o’clock. Each version is limited to five pieces and listed at $874,200.

  • 5531G-012: a Grand Feu cloisonné enamel map of central Milan by day, paired with a light-brown calfskin strap. See the day edition.
  • 5531G-013: a nighttime interpretation of Milan, paired with dark-blue calfskin. See the night edition.

The city names are in Italian, with Milan picked out in red. These are the pieces where the location becomes part of the dial itself. One practical detail matters: Patek describes both as protected against humidity and dust only, not water-resistant.

Three 38 mm white-gold watches carry the strongest color statements in the Milan lineup. Similar case sizes do not mean similar complications or prices.

  • 7147G-010 perpetual calendar: green lacquered dial and matching alligator strap, automatic 240 Q movement, Italian calendar indications and moon phases. Limited to 100 pieces, listed at $137,535. 7147G-010 details.
  • 7047G-010 minute repeater: red lacquered dial, red alligator strap and automatic R 27 PS movement with small seconds. Limited to five pieces, listed at $707,074. It is not water-resistant. 7047G-010 details.
  • 7007G-010 Calatrava: white lacquered dial, dark hands and numerals, white alligator strap and automatic 26-330 S C movement with date and sweep seconds. Limited to 200 pieces, listed at $47,512. 7007G-010 details.

The white Calatrava is the most restrained of the three visually. The red minute repeater is the opposite: a very traditional complication in a watch you will notice immediately.

The six new Gondolo Ladies First 7043 references

The new Gondolos are a separate six-model collection launch, so I would not group them under the seven Milan limited editions. The cushion shape and articulated lugs give them a different feel from Patek’s round dress watches. Explore the Gondolo Ladies First collection.

  • 7043GR-001: white and rose gold, cream dial and cream strap. Listed at $37,510.
  • 7043G-001: white gold, blue-gray dial and a denim-pattern calfskin strap. Listed at $37,510.
  • 7043R-001: rose gold with a brown dial and matching textured strap. Listed at $37,510.
  • 7043/250R-001: the rose-gold Joaillerie version with a diamond-paved dial and green accents. Listed at $68,768.
  • 7043/250G-001: white-gold Joaillerie with blue accents. Listed at $68,768.
  • 7043/250GR-001: white-and-rose-gold Joaillerie with purple accents. Listed at $68,768.

The blue-gray 7043G-001 has a 31 x 34.8 mm case, an E15 quartz movement and 108 diamonds on its dial flange. The purple 7043/250GR-001 keeps those case dimensions but adds extensive diamond setting and amethyst hour markers. 7043G-001 specifications; 7043/250GR-001 specifications.

My preference is the blue-gray version. The textured strap makes the diamond-set design feel easier to wear casually. For someone specifically looking for a Patek Philippe women’s jewelry watch, the three /250 references are the ones to compare closely.

Retail price versus availability: what buyers should know

Prices above are the dollar-denominated prices displayed by Patek Philippe and captured for this release, checked October 1, 2026. They are reference points, not Dialed by H offers or secondary-market valuations. Confirm current pricing, currency, taxes and availability before making a purchase decision.

A production number also does not tell you how many watches are available to buy today. I would not quote a resale premium for the Milan Aquanaut from an announcement alone. An actual example, its condition, documentation, seller and asking price need to be assessed together.
